Volunteers Wanted for International Coastal Cleanup
The Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program (BTNEP) in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) and Nicholls State University (NSU) are asking for volunteers for their upcoming beach cleanup at Elmer’s Island on Saturday, September 16, 2017.
2017 LEEC Grants Fall Release
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries' Environmental Education Commission (LEEC) is now accepting proposals for their 2017 Grants Program, Fall Release. The submission deadline for each of these grants is September 25, 2017. Applications will be accepted via electronic submission only.
