With the decrease of land taking place, the Estuary is in desperate need of your help.

There are different ways you can get involved in helping out our Estuary. One way is to can contact your Legislative delegate to let them know the importance of our estuary and the resources that come from this Louisiana treasure. Second, we are working to bring many volunteer projects on-line in the coming year, which will allow you to work not only to help us clean up the estuary, but to also plant on new and surviving restoration project areas. Our volunteers also help the program monitor the quality of water throughout our estuary and work to document the history and culture of this region. The third way is to get involved with our Management Conference. The public is invited to attend our quarterly meetings. Organizations can also apply to become members in order to support the mission of BTNEP once criteria is met.

If you are interested in volunteering to help BTNEP work towards restoring our system, and our way of life, join our email list for future volunteer opportunities.
