2025 Tidal Graph Calendar | “Amphibians of Our Estuary”
We are pleased to announce that our 2025 Tidal Graph Calendars have arrived!
Titled “Amphibians of Our Estuary,” this year’s calendar highlights 12 amphibians that call the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Home, including the Spring Peeper, Cope’s Gray Treefrog, Gulf Coast Toad, Eastern Newt, Marbled Salamander, and more! Because most amphibians spend their lives in both aquatic and terrestrial environments, amphibians like frogs, toads, and salamanders are considered important biological indicators of the health of an ecosystem. They are sensitive to even minor environmental changes and pollutants and also serve as important components in many food webs, as both predator and prey.
Calendars are free of charge! You can pick up your calendar(s) at our office, located at 320 Audubon Ave. on the Nicholls State University Campus in Thibodaux, Monday through Friday, from 8 am – 2 pm. Please note that our office will be closed for the upcoming holidays: November 27-29, 2024, and December 23, 2024 through January 3, 2025.
