BTNEP Solicitation for FY28 Project Ideas is Open!
The FY 2028 Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program (BTNEP) Solicitation for Project Ideas is now open and will close on November 30, 2026. This solicitation is an invitation to the public to submit project ideas that implement Action Plans included in the BTNEP Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan (CCMP). Instructions for the submission of project ideas can be found here. The project submission form that must be used, including a project narrative, milestones, and a budget overview, can be found here. New this year is the requirement for detailed budget documentation that must be submitted using the fillable budget template that can be found here. All documents are also available at the buttons below.
Project idea submissions are due no later than 11:59 pm, Central Standard Time, November 30, 2026 and should be submitted to Bren Haase and Michelle Felterman at proposals@btnep.org.
