Required Skills:
2 years specialized experience directly related to the position. Knowledge of biological sciences and techniques pertaining to ecology, marine and anadromous fisheries, offshore and coastal aquatic habitat and invasive species and the ability to apply ecological principles to habitat restoration. Knowledge of the habitats and resources of the Gulf of Mexico Region. See the posting for additional required skills.
Education:
BS in Coastal or Aquatic Sciences, Fishery Biology, Fish Ecology, Hydrology, Water Resources, Civil, Environmental Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent. A Master’s Degree in an associated discipline can be used in place of specialized experience.
