Position: Coastal Biologist

They are currently accepting applications for a Coastal Biologist in the Mobile office. Birmingham Audubon’s Coastal Biologist will carry out the coastal scientific protocols and priorities established by the Science & Conservation Director, ensuring that scientific and stewardship tasks are performed with care and competence. Reporting to the Coastal Programs Coordinator, the Coastal Biologist will work directly with volunteers, interns, and seasonal stewards to protect nesting sites against threats from human disturbance in both Mobile and Baldwin Counties. He/she will also work with other staff to execute outreach and educational mandates, and to advance research goals.
