Description

Effort for this position breaks down into four categories; events, scheduling and outreach (45%), communications (35%), development (15%) and administration (5%).

The Assistant to the Director will be responsible for communication and outreach activities for the Marine Lab, in conjunction with the Nicholas School’s Communications Department, including internal and external communication, development of website content, events, scheduling and special projects, while providing administrative support to the Director and Associate Director. The successful candidate will work with faculty, staff and students and increase our the profile in the local community, Duke and beyond.
