Cherokee National Technologies is looking for a Public Outreach Coordinator for the Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection, and Restoration Act (CWPPRA). This federal legislation brings together 5 federal agencies plus the State of Louisiana to complete wetlands restoration projects in coastal Louisiana. The CWPPRA Outreach office works to raise awareness of and appreciation for wetlands protection and restoration at the local, state, and national levels, and responsibilities of the Public Outreach Coordinator include developing relationships with stakeholders, helping develop new products, and organizing participation at events.
This full-time federal contractor position is based out of the USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.
