This position serves as Project Manager within the Project Management Division of the Coastal Protection & Restoration Authority (CPRA). The incumbent of this position is responsible for serving as the CPRA's coordinating point (Project Manager) and state expert for various assigned protection and restoration projects located in the 18 coastal parishes of southern Louisiana.
The incumbent will perform scientific, environmental, and other technical work in support of the comprehensive Coastal Master Plan and Flood Risk and Resilience Program (FRRP) development and implementation - an important segment of CPRA's overall coastal restoration and hurricane flood protection priorities. This position may be filled by a temporary job appointment. However, there is a possibility that this position may later be converted to a Probational Appointment should funding become available.
