Wild Plants of the Wetlands

Wild Plants of the Wetlands is a K-4 science curriculum designed to introduce teachers and students to wetland environment with experiments and activities that can be coordinated with field trips to the National Park: Jean Lafitte Historical Park and Preserve http://www.nps.gov/jela/. The development of this curriculum was funded through the BTNEP Mini-Grants program. All material is aligned with Louisiana GLEs.

This 142 page curriculum is ideal for students in grades 6 through 12. BTNEP has made this curriculum entirely downloadable from this page. Downloadables are highlighted in blue and underlined. Each lesson is a single PDF file and is designed for two-sided printing, therefore there are some blank pages which will be the reverse side of some sheets. We have included the Wild Plants of Our Wetlands cover, and all divider pages which will complete a 1" three- ring binder.
