The BTNEP Education Grant Program
The Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program (BTNEP) created the Education Grant Program to support estuary-based environmental educational opportunities to kindergarten-college students and educators.
2013 BTNEP Education Grant:
BTNEP is focused on educational resources for teachers that can help students understand, appreciate and preserve the Estuary. We know how important it is that the resources we provide you will provide standards-based educational materials. We hope that these resources will help in producing an educated citizenry, who will understand and protect the Barataria-Terrebonne Estuary.
It seems like we've always got something new to share with teachers and students! For instance we have a brand new CD that is available upon request. It's called Thibodeaux's Treasure, designed for students K-4 and all about Louisiana wetlands.
Or how about Wild Plants of Our Wetlands? This one is a teacher lessons planbook guaranteed to please and to help!
On our Videos, Clips, & Guide page, you'll find free downloads and you can order free videos too. We also have some great new CDs you'll want to share with your students.
