  • Open to formal and non-formal educators
  • Receive up to 7 Professional Contact Hours for participating
  • Focus on Louisiana Threatened and Endangered Species

Participants in this exciting, dynamic workshop will receive hands-on instruction from experienced educators and biologists, get updates on Louisiana threatened and endangered species management initiatives, and go home with strategies and materials for including biodiversity instruction in their class curriculum. Targeted age level is middle school to high school, but others are welcome to attend.

Breakfast and lunch are provided. Attendees will receive a $50 stipend, up to 7 professional contact hours, a selection of related lessons, plus a National Audubon Society Regional Guide to the Southeastern States, National Geographic video, and poster.
